Colleen McGrann, born and raised in many small towns throughout the state of Texas, started acting in grade school. Her first “starring” role as an Oompa Loompa in a 4th grade production reaffirmed what Colleen’s gut was telling her from such a young age: she wanted nothing other than to be an actress. “Enlisting” reluctant neighborhood friends for a production of Hansel and Gretel, Colleen was not discouraged after being abandoned by each and every one of them and having to perform the entire play as a “one girl show.” Other childhood “performances” led to acting and directing school productions in high school, many of which garnered her accolades in state held competitions as well as a summer program for gifted students at the University of Texas theater department where she subsequently spent a semester studying the craft.

After graduating high school and attending one year at Lon Morris College (afforded through scholarships earned in various pageants she’d won), Colleen decided it was time to “jump in the waters.” She began work on several Texas-based televisions shows, included one of the most notable, “Dallas.” Before long she moved to Hollywood where more roles in theater, television and film followed. Colleen has co-starred in “Days of Our Lives,” “Boston Public,” “Judging Amy,” “Entourage,” “Without A Trace,” and “Christmas With The Kranks” among many others

Colleen’s professional life is wonderfully complemented by two beautiful children (Allie in her first year of college and Nicky in the 5th grade), three wild and crazy dogs and one perfect husband. She is also an advocate for children with autism (her son Nicky being one extraordinary kid dealing with autism.)
